The City of Warsaw will begin leaf pick-up on Monday, October 26, 2009.
This year, we will be start the season differently… During the week of October 26th only, there will be one leaf crew on the north side and one crew on the south side. Leaves raked to the street will be picked up on your regular trash day. Please do not rake leaves into the street. As a reminder, yard waste, trash and the leaf piles need to be out by 7:00 am.
Beginning Monday, November 2nd, the leaf trucks will then split into their designated areas and run their routes as normal. As the routes get heavier, more trucks will be added. Once the leaf season is in full swing, it can take up to two weeks for the trucks to finish their route one time. The City will be picking up street side first. Alley pick-up will be at the end of the season.
You may continue to bag or box your leaves to have them picked up on your regular trash day.
