Street Projects & Road Construction

Argonne Road / Parker Street
The street project to re-align Argonne Road and Parker Street as one intersection at Center Street will begin Monday, July 6th. Phase 1 of 3 of the project will begin Monday, July 6th  with Argonne Road being closed from Center Street to Jefferson Street. Center Street will also be restricted to one lane in each direction. Motorists will not be able to turn south from Center Street. The Argonne road closure will be for an extended length of time. Phend & Brown will be the contractor 800-998-4234. The construction along Parker Street and Argonne Road for the past few months has been for Indiana American Water Company and is not related to this project.

INDOT Patching / Paving
INDOT advised that beginning June 25 and for the next few weeks (weather permitting) they will be patching and paving on SR25 between Buffalo Street and the bridge near Westcreek Drive, on SR15 South between Winona Avenue and Kincaide Street, and SR15 between Center Street and Winona Avenue . The work will be done "under traffic" so the road will be reduced to one lane, but they will have flaggers to direct traffic.
